Mr. Sugden has proudly represented Ventura County residents like you for nearly 35 years. Since 1987 he has been a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law, recognized by the State Bar of California as having met its extensive training, experience, testing and peer review requirements. Mr. Sugden has represented insurance carriers, employers, interpreters, and doctors, but now limits his practice to representing injured workers, dependents, and social security claimants.
Mr. Sugden has been a solo practitioner since 1995. His success comes from referrals from his many past clients, their friends, neighbors and relatives. Mr. Sugden has been active in the community as a member of various non-profit boards of directors and as a Scout and youth leader and instructor. He holds degrees from John F. Kennedy University School of Law and U.C. Berkeley.
